Where did you hear this, can you post a link, also i wish John's ''fans'' would stop comparing him to those other guys. I'm a fan of Fogerty, but at this point he's a nostalgia act, ditto for Seger. As for the other two, i admire them as songwriters, but their voices are like nails on a chalkboard, i couldn't care less if they played for twelve hours straight.

@ dusty947 - its my suggestion john stay away from women for awhile (if he doesnt have one already lined up or freinds with benefits) and go see a counselor.
I have a much better suggestion, you go see a counselor, because it's been obvious for a while that you desperately need one.

Thanks for posting these lyrics, i've always believed John's cheating ways ended when he met and married Elaine. I know i'm in the minority, but i wish John and Meg Ryan hadn't broken up, love them both as artists and as people, and wish them both the best of luck.

I've listened to it a few times now and love it, the song has great lyrics and ''surprisingly'' John's voice is strong, the sonics are also great with the acoustic guitar and violin sounding especially SWEET, bring on the album.

MELLENCAMP DISCUSSION / All About John / Re: Some JM-related thoughts

Why do some people always have to bring up Bruce Springsteen when discussing JM's music/career, some of us couldn't care less that he plays these stupid three hour marathon shows, maybe that's why half the time he sounds like he's constipated. LOL
Maybe he does it to compensate for the lack of quality studio material he's put out the last two plus decades, no such problem for John. I used to be a fan of Bruce's long before i ever discovered John's music ''still think he's a hell of a nice guy'' but the RS hype machine and the delusion of many of his fans is a complete turn-off.
I consider BS the single most overrated rock artist ever, i feel just the opposite about John.

MELLENCAMP.COM ANNOUNCEMENTS / Ask Mellencamp.com / Two versions of ''After Image''.

I've had the first edition DVD since it was released back in 05, watched it a couple of times and my opinion WAS that it had great potential, but wasn't a very good film.
Last night while browsing Netflix i came across a version with some amazing scenes missing from the my DVD, it's a whole different ''and much better'' movie with their inclusion.
I've since found out there's a more recent release from 2011 and i'm wondering if this is the one i watched on Netflix, they're both listed at 92 minutes duration, could be an error.
I'd like to be sure before ordering this version, maybe Tony ''or someone'' could someone shed some light on this, it would be much appreciated.
