I still hear some radio stations still using Cougar when announcing they're going to play one of John's songs.  They'll use the full "John Cougar Mellencamp" when talking about John's music.  

Heard a D.J say it the other day.. I thought what decade is this guy living in

I just read she is going to direct her first film in Sep in N.Y.. Perhaps John was the person who inspired her to do this....

I love the current tone/type of his music. He seems to really love what he does and it shows.

This is funny/interesting because I remember at one time awhile back John said he didn't do the motorcycle thing anymore......he was "too old" for that.

Pardon me for asking but what is the point of this thread? There is already a thread about this article. It's no use taking quotes out of context. Just my personal opnion.

I just think he is very hard on himself, he is still a good looking guy. Even though it was taken out context. It speaks for itself.
