Anyone have any info on the San Diego show?  I have a front row center seat.  Not expecting a full on Mellencamp show, thinking probably 6 to 8 songs???  Will this be a full band or John solo?

Any info would be great.

Either way, really looking forward to it.  Haven't seen John live since he played a show in the LA area in early 2011- believe it was in April 2011 @ The Nokia Theatre.

I got an alert saying that John was playing in San Diego on Saturday, September 6th.  Any truth to this and if so, any fanclub tickets?

Got a ticket for the LA Show in the Orchestra section.  Looking forward to it.

Hate to be "that" guy but I am guess I am gonna be.  Is this all the dates that you are anticipating announcing or do you think there might be some more shows?  Any Southwest US shows?

It's been close to 3 year since John's last concert in So Cal.  I hope he hits it for a date or two this summer.  If not, I would imagine he would be out here on the 2015 tour.

Ran out and got the issue last night.  Not a long interview but combined with the Arch. Digest article, it is nice to see John getting some press.  I hope John and the band are hard at work on the new album.

Saw an article the other day (if i could find the link, I would post it), that listed the people that are being inducted this year.  I know John was eligible and up for it this year, but didn't see his name on the list of inductees.  Hopefully the article just didn't mention him.

If he didn't make, I am sure he will in the next few years.  He definitely deserves it.

I listened on Sirius.  John did 2 songs- R.O.C.K. in the USA and Pink Houses.  It was a full band performance.  I couldn't turn it up too loud as one of my kids was asleep in the car.  I could've sworn I heard a female back up singer- either that or Mike Wanchic is singing a lot higher than he used too

I was at that San Diego show...incredible version of Gimme Shelter.  We sat right next to John's daughter and her friend + Moe Z's wife and kid were nearby as well.  Great, great show.

Add in We Are the People.

Good article thanks for the link.  If they aren't recording until January when does everyone think the album would be released?  I am thinking May-June-July timeframe.
