I bought my ticket at a retailer and so I didn't get the download.  It should have been included with the booklet that comes with the CD.  I would have shared it with everyone I know. 

I bout the album on CD today and really love what John has put together on it.

Blue Charlotte and Troubled Man are superb and the highlights of Plain Spoken for me.  Tears In Vain is quite and emotional one that will likely speak to a lot of people and their lost loves.  The music and lyrics blend very well.  Great production.  The raspiness in John's voice works very well with the music.  A truly enjoyable album to listen to.

Nicely written.  Although I haven't heard the song yet, it sounds like John is still on a musical journey of self discovery.  I love what he's done on the last few albums and so the anticipation for Plain Spoken is high.

Some fans have said they want another rock 'n' roll album from John and yeah, that would be interesting but he has matured as a man and songwriter and therefore it makes sense that he doesn't go back to the Jack And Diane day or even further back than that.  He is still a rocker at heart but he has grown up.

I haven't heard the song yet.  I decided to avoid the pre-screening of the song before the album comes out.  I want to listen to every songs on the whole album for the first time.  Once I've had a chance to hear all the songs, I'll give my opinion.  I predict John will not disappoint us though.

I was right about "Plain Spoken" being released at the end of September.  That's two days before my birthday.  YIPPI!!!

The Prairie provinces would actually be the best place for Farm Aid Canada.  I like the sound of that.  Our Canadian farmers are struggling the same way they are in the United States.  Even if a show was put on in Ontario, I'd be up for it.  A Young, Nelson, Mellencamp event would be great!  There are a lot of Canadian country acts who'd love to perform at such an even if it could be organized.  What do you say Farm Aid?

The release of Plain Spoken will see john embark on a huge North American tour starting in late 2014 early 2015. (with a show hopefully in Vancouver, Canada)  I'm pumped to hear the new album and see John in concert again.  When will an official announcement be made?
