92  MELLENCAMP.COM ANNOUNCEMENTS / Blog / Re: What ONE song do you want to hear next weekend? on: October 21, 2010, 07:22:10 pm
The West End.............. Live! He performed it on the Travis Smiley show and the band and him kicked butt.  He plays the guitar Hard on that song..... Right Girls?
Can't wait for what is in store on this first leg.  I hope many surprises.  Not the same OLD thing.  John, we need NEW!  Not the same songs performed over and over.  Let's move forward.......  Hot Dogs and Hamburgers is also a good choice.  I know that that song has alot of words but you can do it.  You don't have to remember Easter Eve, but you can remember H & H......It would be like when John Prine Performed "Lake Marie".....Live on his tour this year..... Us Die Hard Fans would love it..................................................and do love it.  That is why I am a big fan of 7609.  You John, picked the songs.  No one else.  I would have picked the same........................Do the same for your tour!

All I had to do was wait patiently for you to figure it out Tony.  It worked fine last Friday and since I was at Farm Aid..... (Great show by the way..... 1st time attending Farm Aid,) I got on the site Sunday night and things were not right.  Thanks, I knew you would solve the problem.

96  MELLENCAMP.COM ANNOUNCEMENTS / Ask / News Page and Home Page issues? on: October 03, 2010, 08:27:09 pm
For some reason, I can't get all the news I could get a week ago.  I get 1 page only and it only has the top 4 most recent news articles?  Is there something that needs to be installed or did this change?  I reinstalled Javascript and Flashplayer but to no avail.  Just wondering if it may be my operating system or is there a problem?

Brought tears to my eyes.  You are right Tony, listen to the crowd!
98  MELLENCAMP.COM ANNOUNCEMENTS / Ask / Re: Store Credit on: August 23, 2010, 07:09:30 pm
I emailed Fanfire help along with emailing you Tony, and their response is:

If the item says CONTINUE, that means that the Store does not have the product "In Stock" at Fanfire so they send you somewhere else by a link if you click "continue" so you can try purchase it where ever the link takes you.  Most of the time the link is sold out too.

Example, Farm Aid Book.

99  MELLENCAMP.COM ANNOUNCEMENTS / Ask / Re: Store Credit on: August 21, 2010, 10:02:00 am
I am browsing through the "store" and there are many items that say CONTINUE and so when I click on it redirects me to and there is not a way that I can figure out how to get this item in my "Shopping Cart" on the store.  Is this because the item is sold out or temporarily unavailable?  Since some of us who paid their memberships on Club Cherry Bomb will be getting a 40.00 voucher, we will be shopping soon if not already.  The item I was trying to put in my cart is the Farm Aid Book.  Please advise Tony.
Thank you.
100  MELLENCAMP DISCUSSION / All About John / Re: No Better than this on: August 19, 2010, 07:13:18 pm
The very first time I played it was on the release date as soon as I got home from work.  Followed each song word by word all by myself.

THe second time I played it, I almost knew all the words.  Because it's John.  You know what he is saying the very first time and it clicks the 2nd time you hear it.  I shock myself when I can do that, but I can only accomplish this with his music.
101  MELLENCAMP.COM ANNOUNCEMENTS / Promote John / Re: No Better Than This - Retail Research on: August 19, 2010, 05:54:28 pm
I went to 2 Targets in MN today.  Willmar and Hutchinson.  Both were sold out!  Price 7.99
I did the survey the other day so now I am just going to reply here, or should we do the survey each time?  Your Opinion Tony.......
It made me smile when they sold out.  I bought a copy at Target, Shopko and Amazon on Tuesday.  I was going to buy 2 more for more Mellenheads to be, but will have to do some more searching for me and promoting for us, that means more stores to "check it out"
102  MELLENCAMP DISCUSSION / Polls / Re: Favorite Video from the 1987 LJ Album on: August 13, 2010, 09:55:12 am
Because it was Live.  Long Hair.  He does the Splits.  He is mesmorized that he is performing in an arena that size.  That smile.  Dig his threads.  He is a rockstar, the era of 1987.  It was a dream come true.

Big Daddy - You knew right away the tone of his life was and what this album was going to be about because of the first song.  It sucked you into his life that reflected your own.
