Reproducing old vinyl

Is there any impetus into reproducing some of the old vinyl? CDs and MP3s are okay but music is analog and not digital... Content is lost in the digitization process.

I agree, something remastered with nicer, fuller quality would be special! I guess it's just not in high enough demand for anything like that to happen as of now. Vinyl is like a whole 'nother experience when you combined it with the technology today- it's like you're really sitting there beside John and the band.
The albums I would most like to see reproduced are American Fool, Uh-Huh, Scarecrow, Big Daddy and The Kid Inside...

Most of John's albums sound fabulous in their original vinyl and CD editions, remasters are a crap shoot regardless of whether it's analog or digital, some are an improvement and some are the complete opposite. I would love to see vinyl releases for Whenever We Wanted, Human Wheels, 98 S/T, Cuttin' Heads, and most of all ''Freedom's Road'' because the available CD of that one s is mastered way too loud, and is sorely lacking in dynamics, a downright shame for such a great album.
