I want to place a vote, or a request, that John Mellencamp make a Studio Album of his Early Greatest Hits; But with his Current Band (From the "Sad Clowns & Hillbillies" Album).

I love the sound of the New Album!  And think a "Modern Acoustic Greatest Hits" album would be Absolutely Fantastic !!!  I can almost hear the violin playing the lead guitar on "Rock In The USA"!

Be sure to check out John's Rough Harvest album, it's very much the kind of album you are talking about. Not all of his hits, but some of them.

Thanks for the tip!  Have Rough Harvest, and it's in the right direction.  Would just like to hear the old rock favorites with the new, more acoustic sound like on Sad Clowns....

It may never happen, but I think a lot of Baby Boomers would buy it !
