Well if you want greatest hits this is the show. Only 13 songs played with one new one. The show lasted 75 minutes. Very disappointing. I wasn't the only one upset. 100.00 per ticket and I am now stuck with a second night ticket. Fair warning don't go get a drink or go to the bathroom.

Yes, very disappointing to hear about the shortness of the 1st show. As I have tickets for a later concert on the tour I'm hoping this changes. Come on, John!

See if you can get half your money back 😉. If you have seen him live over the years this will disappoint you.

I know that in the past ie. 2010 casino concert(s) some casinos had a major say in length of show and dictated that to the artist and made sure they were shorter times.

Wanted to let everyone know that the new live cd of troubled no more is available at his concert for 20 dollars I bought mine and listened to it on my drive back from the concert Friday night. The cd is really good. Also the concert in Oklahoma was short and he could have changed up the set list a lot more but even so the concert was great.

I was at the Saturday night show at Winstar Casino on June 21. 2014.  I was fortunate to get the last VIP ticket for the show. I never spent that much money on a concert ticket before.  I always wanted to see John in concert, so this was a early birthday present to myself. I wasn't disappointed in John or the band's performance.  I enjoyed John telling the story about his grandmother and their relationship. The thing that was disappointing that people who are rude and came into the show late, drunk and screaming during the slow song that John was performing on stage. That I found totally disrespectful to John and his band and the patrons who showed up to the show on time.  I think when they show up that late and drunk they should not be allowed into the show.  Maybe if John would have come back out on stage if everyone gave him and his band a longer standing ovation and more chanting John. John, John, he would of gave an encore.
I agree that the show wasn't long enough. I would like to say Thank You John Mellencamp and your band for coming to perform at Winstar Casino.  I had a great time at your show. I wish I could have gone to your previous concerts but I was busy raising my daughter the last 20 years.  I put her first before myself.  Again thank you to John and your band. I loved the show you will never know how much.

Funny story re: obnoxious people.....

A group of four had front row seats at one of John's concerts that I went to.  When he was doing his solo bit they were standing at the foot of the stage talking the whole time.  In the middle of a song he walked away from the mike over to them and said, "If you want to have a conversation why don't you take it out into the hall."

Go John!

I'll never forget that!!

I agree with everyone re this concert.  I went on Friday night and my travel time was longer than the actual concert.  He barely played 75 minutes, and within that time he told his story and his band members had their short solos, so he didn't even play an hour.  And then the killer was that he didn't even do an encore.  I was totally shocked and very disappointed.  His fans deserve more than that.  This was my first time seeing him in concert and it will be the last time.  I was excited and really looking forward to this concert.  If he was restricted by time due to the venue's rules, then he should have let his audience know.  Sure would love to hear from John on this.  I'm so disappointed, I'm thinking of tossing all my cds.  I'm wondering how the Saturday night concert went and if the same thing happened.  And the comment about "don't get a drink or go to the bathroom" is so true.  I stood in line forever to get a drink and missed several songs.  They need more bartenders - at least before the show starts.  Love you music, John, but so disappointed the concert was so short - not worth the $100.  Recently went to see Queen and they played for two and a half hours!

This will be my 5th time seeing John (Im going to Rama next wednesday) so really the length of the show will be what it will be I will be ok because Im seeing John again but my husband will be pissed because I spent the money to get 3rd row tickets - closest I have every been to the stage so Im excited only 6 sleeps to go! But lets also remember John aint no spring chicken any more either!

It also annoys me like mad when people pay money to go and see a show and spend the whole time at the bar or visiting the washroom or generally disrespecting the artist. I already commented on this site on the fact that they did this the last time I saw John play at the GM Centre in Oshawa, Ontario. John was having a great banter with the audience and then the hecklers started and John basically shut up talking played his songs and left, you could tell he was pissed and it ruined the show for me.(but I did get a shot of me standing next to Johns Airstream in the parking lot) Perviously we saw him at Massey Hall, Toronto where the show was fab and he had a fab rapport with the audience.
