]The PA system at the Acura stage blasted Johnny Cash's God's Gonna Cut You Down just before John Mellencamp kicked off his set. Emerging from backstage, Indiana's man in black strolled to the microphone with typical aloof swagger, launching into a loose but defiant Authority Song, followed by a rugged version of No One Cares About Me. Well, someone does. Girlfriend Meg Ryan roamed both sides of the stage snapping pictures of him and the giant crowd.
