Wow ... Everyone has their own opinions...

I have never met either John or Meg, but I wish them the best as they are making it work for them.

In this day and age it is hard to maintain relationships [or for many even be in  / start a relationship], let alone if you are in the spotlight.

I have have several relatives who say they's would rather die than stop smoking. Its a bad addiction. he forgot he had a heart attack?? Talk about denial.

I really thought it was way over the top to smoke during the interview .Im Shocked they LET him. I thought there were laws.

Apparently hes off again with Meg, and his grueling touring schedule combined and other stuff maybe be contributing to increased smoking.

He looks like he could use a looooong vacation.

"Peg" is Meg Ryans nickname/family name from when she was a kid. "Peg" is also the name of the portrait he did of her.

 "Peg" = Meg Ryan.

They are obviously at  least still friends., nothing wrong with being friends with your ex.

My Brother downloaded his album, and let me listen to it. JM still remains a great songwriter. Good stuff.

I don't know about all the rest of this stuff (and neither does anyone else posting here know for sure), but I sure do like his music............that I know for sure.

well,  going by what he said about Meg in the press and on TV a couple weeks ago....; he still loves her wheather they are together or not ..and said she helped him, I have some problem with some stuff JM says(hes too sensitive to see trash or poor people(?),) But he said some lovely things about her.

They look to be still friends. So she cant be THAT bad and evil as some make her out to be on this board. lol In fact, she has nevercommented or talked about John to the press. Ever.
