The concert in Cary, NC last night was epic!  My husband and I had front row tickets.  Concert started at 7PM with Carlene Carter opening followed by Emmylou Harris.  Carlene and Emmylou were fantastic!  JM followed Emmylou and provided his fans with close to a 2 hour show...simply amazing! JM and the band were in top form making this one of the best shows he has ever put on!

Wow the VIP merchandise sounds fantastic, cannot wait to receive it!  I am going to the Cary, NC show this evening and have not yet received my VIP swag.  In the past, I have always received the VIP merchandise prior to the concert so I presume it is just delayed as I know there is a chance it can arrive after the show.  Do you have any updates or know who I can contact about this?  I think I remember reading a post from Tony saying the merchandise started shipping around 09 June.

I have always purchased Diamond VIP Package seats for past JM concerts I have attended and the seats for this package have always been in the first 5 rows.  For this upcoming concert, the Diamond VIP Package seats description says "One amazing reserved ticket"...so, where are these seats?  I know there is a Front Row VIP Package option available for most of the concerts in this upcoming tour, so I would like to know where the Diamond VIP Package seats will be in case I miss out on the front row package seats.

No words can adequately describe the show last night in Durham, NC!!  John and the band played 2 hours and the crowd spent most of the time on their feet, dancing and singing.  My husband and I were very fortunate to have center seats in row 2 in the pit and the experience was awesome!!  We have seen JM many times and this was by far one of his VERY best performances...he and the band were on fire and full of energy!!  I am going to be checking seat availability for some shows this summer as seeing him once this year is simply not enough!! 

Wowser, wonderful read...made me feel like I was right there with you throughout your experience...lovin' it!!   

After listening to this new album, all I can say is that it is incredibly inspirational to see a 62 year old song writer/artist/musician continue to voice his opinions, thoughts, dreams, etc. through his music and lyrics and still be able to gain the attention of fans and the media.  JM is obviously not continuing to create new material to be popular...never mattered to him and never will.  In this day and age of the Biebers, Beyonces, Swifts and all the other bubble gum performers, I love it that an artist of my generation continues to have a voice that is not only accepted, but, truly heard!!  Cannot wait to see him again during his 2015 tour!!   

In comparison, artists such as Bon Jovi and other top performers offer premium seats for more than a thousand bucks per ticket with no more perks than what the VIP JM tickets offer...so paying $250 for a premium ticket for a JM show is a steal.

I have attended four JM shows in the past few years, always purchasing the VIP seats to help ensure I get an incredible seat and the 2015 price of $249 + fees per ticket is exactly what I have paid for previous shows so no price hike this go around.

I have been reading all of the posts since this morning’s pre-sale began and I am so happy to see all the positive feedback from fans getting great seats!!  Well, my Mellencamp pre-sale ticket purchasing experience continues to pay off!  The best seats in the house at the Durham, NC venue are in the pit...ONLY two rows (29 seats) available in the pit and I was able to snag two Diamond Package seats in the pit!!!!!  Can you tell I am totally excited?  Woo Hoo, cannot wait!!!!!!      

Watched the live show last night on the Farm Aid site...excellent performance by John and the band!!  Next stop - the 2015 tour - cannot wait!!
