Just logged in for presale and at 10:00AM, when I said show all available all they have are last rows of balcony available?!?  This can't be right...

This is crazy!! Where are the presale tickets???

I was logged in and ready to go.  Everything set.  Site finally went live about 10:02 and only thing available were VIP level tickets.

Same here. Checked multiple venues.  Was waiting well ahead of time.  Must have been a Pre Presale.  Never had this issue.

None available  in Ft Wayne except VIP packages.

I can't believe I scored 4 Garth Brooks tickets and was waiting 20 mins!! But within 3 mins these were all gone??!!!!!

I got Baltimore no problem.....only thing I can say is keep trying...

figured it out... the popup box where you enter the code... you have to click the lock button.  that releases all the seats available.  We ended up in the front of the Mezzanine section at DeVos

Several shows did not fire up sales for the password presale at the top of the hour.

All shows, as of 1050pm ET, have some presale password tickets available, but several are almost all sold out for the presale.

Please keep trying, it is very typical that all tickets get requested when the show goes live, but a huge percentage of those do not get purchase and then cycle back through for being requested/purchased again. It's frustrating but with a limited number of tickets it is what happens. Not uncommon for you to get tickets several hours after presale started when at the first 5 minutes it told you none were available.

"other" cant be a presale code? really? It's not the code for Memphis or Nashville

Got my tix for NJ, Baltimore, and told my relatives in Charlotte I'm coming to "visit" in March!   My Life Is Now!!!

Ive been trying for Nashville and have gotten nothing in the 25 mins

MELLENCAMP.COM PRE-SALE INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1 - Register to become a free member of the Mellencamp.com Community through the COMMUNITY page on Mellencamp.com.

Step 2 - Consult the details of your show on the TOUR page to see the date and time of your pre-sale. Click the blue information icon for complete details about your show.

Step 3 - Return to Mellencamp.com the morning of your show's pre-sale and log into the website.

Step 4 - On the TOUR page, approximately 10 minutes before the pre-sale begins, we will post a pre-sale ticket password ONLY for logged in members. You MUST REFRESH the TOUR page in your browser to see the password, it will appear in the column next to whichever show you choose.

Step 5 - Click the link to go to the online ticket seller and enter the password where required to gain access to the pre-sale and then complete your purchase.

TIP: We suggest you click the pre-sale tickets link for your show and pre-register with the ticket seller before our pre-sale begins to avoid any check out issues during your purchase.

TIP: There are often other pre-sales for John's show. You might try to find and use the passwords from those pre-sales. Credit card companies, venues, tour promoters, ticket sellers often all have their own pre-sales separate from our Mellencamp.com offering.

Typically there is a 4 ticket limit per Community Member per show (many shows on the Sad Clowns & Hillbillies tour will have a 6 ticket limit). Our pre-sale has a limited number of tickets and will likely sell out. Tickets are first come, first served and there are no guarantees that you will get a ticket through our pre-sale.

Ticket master is a joke! No presale good seats in Rockford,IL Have this issue all the time.
Yet right now all kinds of good seats show up on the broker sites.
Should be illegal!! Never going to stop until we all stop buying the resale tickets!!!

Been trying for Nashville since 10:00am -  I agree - worst presale ever >:(

I've been trying to get the Nashville show all day and not got anywhere. I'm hoping more tickets will be released for pre-sale later today. Broker sites already re-selling tickets.

What show and what kind of tickets are you looking for? I just pulled up tickets for both shows.

I'm looking for 4 seats on Tuesday night.

I see more than 4 single seats available in the regular tickets but they are not together. There are 4 gold seat tickets available together. 

Part of the fun is sitting with your friends and singing at the top of your lungs! ;) Will more be released at the general sale? I guess I will try again then.

Yes only a portion of the complete offering of tickets are available in our presale. There are other presale tickets tomorrow in other presales (password people and stuff) along with American Express if you are a ticketmaster show. There are other seats that will only be released in the public on sale on Friday.

I'm trying to get presale tickets for the Ft Myers Florida show but it's not working. I've registered here and with the venue but it still isn't working. It keeps saying tickets on sale Friday the 21st. There is no place to put the code in. It says presale on sale and I can click on that but then it brings me to a page to purchase but no place to put the code and when I say what tickets I want that'st when it says they will be on sale Friday. Someone please help.

I am very impressed at how quickly the Mellencamp org answers questions here and helps folks out during the on sale period.

I did not have any issues for Youngstown tix. Got right in.
We couldn't spend the $$ for one of the premium packages but we did buy the top tier of the regular seats and I was able to get nice seats.

Anyway, just wanted to let folks know your work is appreciated. We are excited to be seeing JM at the Bultler tomorrow in Youngstown.

The spot to put the password is in not in your face, it's at the top right corner of the website. It says Enter Promo Code.

I went on at exactly 10 am this morning.  I tried the password "other" several times before it worked.  It finally worked.  Then I tried to get 6 tickets.  Any tickets. It always came back no tickets available.  I tried every combination of number of tickets and type of tickets.
Finally was able to get 2 tickets in the orchestra section.  Then I tried again and was able to get 2 tickets in the balcony.  Not a very good setup.  Someone needs to revamp this ordering system.

Thanks but I had to do it by going to the venue and click tickets, then from the drop down box click promotions. There was no info to do it that way I just tried. Then I could put the code in and it brought me to the tickets. I did not see anything anywhere that it said enter promo code. Anyway, I was able to get tickets.

Yes, all presales are on the official ticket system, the same one the fan club ticket presale would have been on.

Finally got my tickets, but wow what a struggle it was to get them...Evansville, IN will be my 29th Mellencamp concert. I don't know if it is ticketmaster or the venue that is making everything so cumbersome. But true fans should not have to jump thru hoops like I felt like I had to in order to get a good seat..
