 John,
Not good at figuring out how to send you a message, but hope this gets to you.  I was at the concert tonight, Friday, at Radio City. To say it was spectacular does not do you justice.  You and the Boss( I know, youve been compared to him as the poor man's Springsteen for years, but youre both over it) are probabley the only bands in the US that have no problem bringing a banjo, accordion, fiddle and a bunch of singers on stage at the same time.
I thought the concert tonight was tremendous, except that you did not play an encore.  You told the audience you were going to play for hours, yet after bringing us to a very high height, you abandoned us. NO ENCORE.  Very disappointing. I was ready to put you in a different category than the Boss. Right next to him with a hint of rockabilly and a great band. You blew it tonight.

Glad that you enjoyed the show.  I saw both shows in Toronto last week and yes, it's a great one.  Too my knowledge, John never does encores so don't feel that you lost out.  It would always be nice to hear more tunes but I guess you need to stop somewhere.

John already played a longer set than he does at most shows my husband and I saw him up here in Ontario at Casino Rama in July and while the show was great and he did do an encore of sorts it was more like he just left the stage after about 50 minutes and then came back to do a few of his hits so that show felt really short (and it was) but apparently all the shows at Casino Rama are short. I thought he played a great show at Massey Hall and I also thought he played longer than he usually does and I never understood the point of encores anyway at least he told us he wasnt doing one and the house lights went up so we werent left wondering!
