I've been john mellencamp fan since 86 I was 5 years old I could sing and do every move except splits to every video on MTV till of course MTV quit playing real music but I wasn't old enough to see him in concert like during lonesome jubilee or scarecrow or before that and do you think John would ever put out like an old concert DVD or maybe a little series of them I see YouTube and people that filmed it obviously w/o his knowledge cause sound quality is barely tolerable I can hear John singing but the sound quality is not good I'd love to watch a concert from 88 w great sound and production I don't know just an idea I think there is a lot of fans true fans that were to young to really see john and the band during that time I have seen him live since in 2005 awesome show I seen July 4th 1992 the iheart concerts both on internet it would be magnificent if he would

You know Jgmanns81,

I'm old enough to have seen John's concerts; and i'd like to see what you mention in more than just a song or two on YouTube!  I'm sure there are plenty of people around my age who were old enough but work, economics, latter years fans, for whatever reason; they would love to watch and listen to the older music again!   This is not to say, JM if you read these, that the current music isn't as appreciated!  Any form of your muse recorded has been and continues to be uber awesome! I'd like that too. If you've read the book "American Fool" they describe John doing back flips on the stage along with the splits. I'd like to see some of the footage before American Fool and then after.

Hey MNorris149,

Check out YouTube for the concert in Indianapolis 12.11.87 where he sings "Check it Out" and you see JM doing splits there.  I know that's not the back flips you mention; but still a phenomenal performance of the song and display of his athletic ability back in the day!
