For those wondering when John will start making a new album, he said on the Bob and Tom Show this morning that he will start recording his next album this fall, and he plans to feature Lily and Madeleine Jurkiewicz, the two teenage girls who sing with him on the Ghost Brothers song "The Truth," on several tracks. The album would presumably be released sometime in 2014. Listen to the interview by clicking the link below:

This is fantastic news, will T-Bone be producing again ''i hope so'', having Lily and Madeleine on the album is a great idea.

That is great news.  Enjoyed seeing him, T~Bone and Stephen King the other night during the Rose interview.  Bummed that I missed seeing them in person.  Real life interferring with

Good news.

I'm kicking back right now listening to The Lonesome Jubilee remaster from a few years ago and, boy, does it sound good. Some new JM music would be great.

Hope he sticks to it... This is great news, but with the Ghost Brothers Tour this fall (  I am not sure of his involvement in tour, but he stated his band is the band for the show) , Seems this could get pushed off. I hope this is a return to the Typical JM Record. I enjoyed the detour of No Better, but I am hopping Mike W returns on this record, he hasnt really played on the last few with T Bone.  I hope itis more in kin with Freedoms Road.

I hope it's not as dark as "No Better Than This".  Roll Eyes

Isn't this good news...only thing better would be a Spring/Summer 2014 tour!  Always something new and exciting to look forward to from JM & the band. Sitting still is not an option...   Smiley

Finally, the cat's out of the bag.  A new album is in the works.  John has probably been writing it for a while now.  I know he is not going to disappoint.

I hope he parts with T-Bone and produces his own sound.

I would have to agree, nothing against T-Bone but I'd prefer he do this album without him. More Mike Wanchic Please!!! I think he had a lot of influence on Freedoms Road and that was an awesome album.
