I am LOVING, just LOVING the performances of these songs. Thanks for posting. I watched Tavis last night at 11:30 and saw Tuesday's show. Go figure. I'm thankful these videos are being passed along from the Smiley show.

ALSO, I don't think I have seen anyone mention the white statue that is on stage, in front of the drum kit.

It looks to me to be a statue of the Blessed Mother??? Has JM traded in Garfield (tour bus window) for a religious statue, to guide his way? Would love to hear the backstory on the statue, if there is one.

12 years of good old catholic school and that was the first thing I noticed.
Sure looked like Mary to me.

It's a statue of Jesus with his arms outstretched.  It says "Saves" under the statue.  Watch the Tavis Smiley video of Save Some Time to Dream for a closeup.

I guess 12 years of the nuns was not enough, I did not go to a catholic college,
can't tell Mary from Jesus.....I am surely headed to purgatory!

Statue of Jesus, as far as JM is concerned, makes more sense than Mary. I hope I'm forgiven, too.  Grin

Loved the shows! And it was great when John said "Hi Chris!" when Tavis' producer came out with the cake for Elaine. He said my name!!! Yeah, I've got it on the iPod already.
