I was watching one of John's new songs on youtube and somebody posted how they didn't like his new shows and wants to hear the old sound.  Then, someone posted a comment that really sums up my opinion of John's musical interests........"For those of you in search of Johnny Cougar, he never existed." 

Loving this quote, made me grin with memories of those days and the truth of this line..I think John would approve.

They have the most eclectic mix of artists each year.  A large number of venues helps add some choice in variety and numbers.

If we visit the mellencamp.com site tomorrow in the 'tour' section, before the 10 a.m. presale, will there be a word and then a link to take us to www.ottawabluesfest.ca (I take it they are the direct ticket seller for this event)?  Or is this a presale open for everyone visiting www.ottawabluesfest.ca directly?

Hee, hee, hee.  Maybe I should have a crystal ball?  Just knew this was going to happen!  Now how to figure out getting from T.O. to Ottawa to another city for the next morning early!
