Hi I syl and am based in Australia.
I am coming to Canada to see some of John's shows  - have been able to book 2 that used a different booking site ottowa and oshawa, but was really wanting to go to Kingston or St Catherine's [or both]  -  as i'm coming such a loooong way.

Is anyone able to help - I have tried the ticketmaster site but it is only allowing Canadian and US bookings

Secondly - any chance there will an announcement for an Australian tour - this CD / album is extraordinary and it would be great to witness John performing some of the od and new songs live.

So, the "fan club" pre-sale.......and 3 hours later there are 150+ "fan club presale tickets" on stubhub......so do you think they went to real fans???.....  

We have the same issue with tickets in Australia - they all end up on ebay or resale on ticketmaster Australia - sometimes3x the original price!

Because the VIP packages include shipped merchandise I think being a foreign buyer might mean you might not get the items, but if the ticket system is able sell you the ticket you should be able to at least use that.

My suggestion would be to call the box office at the venue of the show you want to attend and ask them how their ticket system works.

Thanks for the info - I would more than likely want the VIP - surely they could keep such things at the venue to be picked up or sent to the hotel I am staying at. Once a shw appears that I can go to then I will contact them in advance - cheers and kepp doing the great work there - SW

I have heard John's songs used as Trivia nights, weddings, birthdays and recently my Mother's funeral. You may think that's morbid, but his song 'Ride Back Home' seemed to call out to me. The words in that song matched the life of my Mother so much it was a nice way to send her off at the end of the funeral.

Thanks John for writing the beautiful, heartfelt, 'real life' songs that you do. I look forward to hearing the rest of the new CD, if its anything lie the first 2 songs, it should be a ripper!

I am sad to see that as a foreigner I cannot buy tickets - I am going to be in the states when John is touring - I was so excited that finally I am going to be able to see him...and again I will not. Please let us know if this changes as I cannot see John ever returning to Australia after the debacle of last year.

I was wondering if John has a Facebook page? Secondly if he does is he active on it...got this message from him...it has many errors and I'm sure John wouldn't write such things...
 I Accepted your request for a purpose, I have been busy with shows and many more, traveling, thank you for the support and love, I appreciate. I'm looking for someone i can definitely trust cause i have got some few things I need to do and take care of without my management knowing about it so i need one of my loyal fan to handle this for me.

I want one true fan i can call up to the stage at least to show the people how much love i,ve got for my loyal fans
The reason why i need someone to do it is because the security company having some of my briefcases doesn't want any media buzz of their shutdown and as you know anything concerning my name is a big media story . i have been advised by my attorney to find someone out of my circle to give this task to and compensate them for their worries..
I'm thinking it is a scammer - @john.mellencamp.39, the Facebook page is very similar to the official one with the blue tick
