JOHN MELLENCAMP 2014 SUMMER TOUR ANNOUNCED - TICKET ON SALES START THIS WEEK

John Mellencamp will be playing a run of shows this summer, kicking off the tour at the Winstar Casino in Thackerville, OK for two nights. Additionally, the tour will visit Niagara Falls, NY, Uncasville, CT, Atlantic City, NJ, Orillia, ON, and Windsor, ON. Tour dates include the previously-announced Cheyenne, WY show at Frontier Nights, currently on sale.

 

Winstar Casino tickets go on sale to the public Friday, March, 14 2014 at 10 AM CT. Orillia's Casino Rama tickets go on sale Wednesday, March 19 at 12 PM ET and the Atlantic City Borgata tickets will go on sale Friday, March 21 at 10 AM ET.  Other shows will go on sale in the coming weeks, watch Mellencamp.com for details.

 

Mellencamp.com will be offering pre-sale tickets to most shows on John's 2014 Summer Tour. For specific show details, pre-sale dates, times, and prices,  please visit the TOUR page.

 

Thackerville will have a pre-sale starting tomorrow, Thursday, March 13, and Casino Rama will have a pre-sale on Monday, March 17.

RECORDING UNDERWAY FOR JOHN'S NEXT ALBUM
For the past few months, John and the band have been hard at work on a new album. The album, produced by T Bone Burnett, is not yet finished and remains untitled, but we're told it's coming together beautifully. It is expected in the Fall of 2014, and will be followed by an extensive tour beginning in early 2015. Stay tuned for more updates in the coming months!

JOHN PART OF THE BOB DYLAN - THE 30th ANNIVERSARY CONCERT CELEBRATION DELUXE EDITION RELEASE - AIRING ON PBS IN MARCH
John is part of the Bob Dylan - The 30th Anniversary Concert Celebration - Deluxe Edition released March 4 on CD, DVD & Blu-Ray. The event occured on October 16, 1992 at New York’s Madison Square Garden, and the first performance of that evening, almost 22 years ago, was John’s blazing rendition of “Like A Rolling Stone.” The release also includes some bonus features including Mellencamp's performance of  "Leopard-Skin Pill-Box Hat."
