Mellenmoments

Every time I click on Mellenmoments, I'm smiling, thinking that they are always a surprise to the recipient.  An unexpected gift to the receiver of the "moment".  You can only be the recipient of this particular gift if you are someone who feels a connection to John's music.  It's like I've just been invited to a celebration where someone opens a present that was just perfect.

Where are everyone's Mellenmoments? 

I was flippig the channels around this morning and ran across the 2-hour A&E Biography special on Johnny Cash.  It's a GREAT biography of him, but it's also very cool to see JM in it several times! 

Then, of course, last night during one of the early commercial breaks of the (sad) Colts game it was very nice to hear them go to commercial with one of JM's songs!!  Always makes me smile!

Two times on my way home from work this week I heard Small Town, taking a break in the mall for lunch yesterday I heard R.O.C.K. and today we had lunch at a place called Cadillac Ranch. It has a rock music theme along with car stuff and a mechanical bull, somethang for everyone.  I'm looking around at all the pictures on the wall, thinking "Where's JM?" and the waitress sits us in a booth looking straight at his picture!
