Thank for posting this Walktall. I remember this when FarmAid first started, my dad who was a farmer applauded John and Willie for their efforts back in 1985. My dad had to sell his farm in 1994 because he could not afford the taxes and low beef prices, plus he had a heart condition and needed a pacemaker. He loved that farm and so did I. My dad died last year and one of the last things he said to me was that he missed that farm. I wished I could have helped him.
May this FarmAid be the best one ever! I will be contributing like I do every year since 1985.

My dad loved "Small Town" I even heard him sing it once.
