Hey all! Figured I'd pass along this link - it's a non-profit teaser trailer I produced for a screenplay (union registered) based around life as a struggling actor in LA and has a couple "Mellencamp" moments included.  I grew weary of going to audition after audition and really wanted to find a way to punch through the industry with one, single concept... this story, which revolves around a musical skateboarder's righteous journey to Broadway. The script is now being shopped around the industry for optioning/buy-out (Shaw Management represented). I originally grew up in Salem (right next to Seymour) and wrote the script a while back, with several dozen revisions, as a nod for my love of Indiana and Hollywood. Most kids my age feed off of stereotypical radio hits, but I found John's music so inspirational, I listened to every album non-stop while creating this. If you have a moment to watch, I'd sincerely appreciate it!
