Are the citi card presale and mellencamp.com presale 2 distinct presales?

I don't see Atlanta, Savannah or Augusta at ticketmaster.  Who is selling those tickets?

What type of seats will be available through the citi card pre-sale?  Is it all seats or a some held out for citi? 

As stated John will be doing a huge US and Canada tour in 2014 with a new album under his belt.  I hope he does come back to Vancouver.  I'm sure we'll start seeing tour date new very soon.  Right Tony?

Sorry to be a downer but I think we are a long ways off from a tour announcement. John plans to tour in support of his next album, but naturally that means he first needs to record, mix, master, create title and artwork (several months at a very minimum). Then the release has to be scheduled and the promotion plan for the release (TV, interviews, contests). That can't be done until the album is done. So the planning of the tour really can't start until those 2 things are either complete or mostly complete.

Long story short, don't be looking for any tour dates until the 2nd half of 2014 in the very best case scenario.

The good news is work begins in earnest with the band on the album in January so lets all cross our fingers that the recordings go well and everyone is happy with it so we can move on to the other phases.

Tony, you are "the source" for all good JM info.  Thanks man.  I hope you had a great Christmas and all your turkeys are fat and healthy(if you still are raising them).

I think JM is not a good communicator.  Because of this, he is often misunderstood.  For the most part, he lets his songs do his talking where he doesn't have to worry about being misunderstood.  This is why he doesn't say much on stage.

I am trying to listen to the music in context of the play.  I only have the music.  I did see the play in Atlanta.  I wish I had these songs before the play.  My heart gets tugged on a little bit in "My Name is Joe". 

This is fantastic news, will T-Bone be producing again ''i hope so'', having Lily and Madeleine on the album is a great idea.

I hope he parts with T-Bone and produces his own sound.

Is JM going to be at the shows?  It really doesn't matter I guess. I am just curious.

Right now it's all about getting the Ghost Brothers album and tour nailed down. Once that happens then I think John's attention will turn to his next move after that. It appears the Ghost Brothers's album release might be moving.

There has to be valleys between the peaks of working and touring, even for a work a holic like John. John's a super creative person, he is always creating whether we see the fruits of it immediately or down the line.

Now perhaps JM can turn his thoughts towards a new rock'n'roll record. Would he keep T-Bone on board for a loud record?

 

I am ready for JM to part ways with T-Bone.  It has been a good run, but I would like to see what JM would produce on his own, now.
