I would really like to see this play.  

 I would not mind seeing it myself. The music is supposed to be amazing.
Maybe it will make it to L.A. too.

JM has mentioned in interviews that the next album will be a "rock record,"  So there ya go.

The show was a "hit" in Atlanta. It did their biggest single show sales of anything on their schedule for the past season and they were ecstatic for how it did being an unknown production with audiences the size they usually have for their more nationally known productions

Great! From the way JM and SK talk, They are very proud of it and want to see it expand and more people to see it.

Call me impatient or whatever, perhaps even a bit spoiled by the every other year JM release, but aren't we due for some NEW MELLENCAMP???

I am hoping he comes back ELECTRIC (in other words, plugged in).  Please fill us in Tony.

Also, what ever happened to the talented Pat Peterson?  Get her back on the new release too!

There are lots of 2112FA vids on Youtube and I saw no spitting in Bandanas, nor does  he look pale .  He looked like he was having a good time and looked good.  As for his voice ... obviously decades and decades of Cigarette smoking have affected his voice.

He has multiple projects going on now so its safe to say he still has lots of energy,  

I also learned that John recently recorded a new song .

mellenfan common courtesy in wanting to use someone elses material is not too much to ask for. and that is what they should of done with john. and john deserves that kind of respect

Do we know why the Brothers of Darkland County release was postponed/shelved?

They also are possibly waiting until the next time/place the show is staged to release it then to help get more attention for the project.

The 16 years of standard, 90-minute sets and the same old songs being played over.....Who knows what future tours will hold.

I hope he was serious about a new "Rock and Roll" album in the future, As great as NBTT was, It was Dark and brooding(rec in 2009?), Would love to see him go back to his roots of kick ass Rock n roll. Like Pop Singer, etc

releasing the three-disc version of the "Ghost Brothers" musical (okay, low blow there), etc. then his fans would all have much more to get excited about.
