Listening to "stand in the fire"live album..stunning,brilliant,sardonic songs from this great american songwriter..such a sad loss to lose him to cancer..when told he had months to live,went out and recorded "the wind",a document of his pain while ill...check out this artists "dirty life and times"..an absolute legend.

Had the pleasure of meeting crystal and bobby king at the midland hotel,manchester in april 1993..signed my springsteen unplugged disc cover..were a joy to talk to about there music...she had great grounding working with j.m,..then joel and bruce!!

I meant johns performance in the bedroom!!..not on stage!...im sure megs not complaining!

Saw it in yesterdays edition...megs well fit for her age...they made a play about johns paunch and keeping his shirt on...im sure its not johns paunch megs worried about...as we all know the man can still perform!!!...and has a lot of love to give.

Heartworn highways film got me into this briliant new country pioneer...l.a freeway...toured with townes van zandt,steve earle...one of americas finest.

No better than this....best album ever...cannot stop playin it...thers so much that rings true in my life on this...not havin seen my brother for 8 years...and his wife dont like me!...."i saw myself as others see me"...a living proof moment..."alone yourself til the day you die"....absolutly spot on j.m.

As long as you dont get any "tornadoes"like those in alabama....you should be o.k.  Have a good show!
