Sorry. I know you asked the other day for pictures. I am NOT tech savy, both my friend and I were not able to get any pictures. I see someone posted the set list so hopefully someone will come through with some pictures. I'm still in my glory over that great show. Thank you John, bandmates, and all involved in getting here and putting on a terrific show.

MELLENCAMP DISCUSSION / Tour Talk / LOWELL, MA -THIS SHOW KICKED ASS

WOW!!!! The Lowell show was f***ing awesome. He sounded and looked so good. They all did. It was well worth the $135. The only sucky thing was people from way behind went up front and blocked the middle isle. The staff at the auditorium should have made them move because people who actually paid for their seats down there couldn't see as well. Anyway, it was great . The movie prior to the show was amazing too. I really enjoyed it. Hope it's for sale. I wouldn't mind adding that to my collection. I'm sure many others will agree, it was awesome and it kicked ass!

I'm hoping the storm will not be an issue too. I, like many of you, have been waiting a LONG time for this and need something to forget about all this crappy weather. I bet John is already here in Massachusetts (probably Nantucket or the Cape) but if not, please get here safe and sound. We need you ! PS) Safe travelling to everyone!

Thanks for the responses. I was beginning to give up on an answer. I do agree that you get to be a bit closer to the stage with a smaller venue and I really like the smaller shows but I still feel it's steep. Now if I am able to get to the stage and touch him (like I did with Tim McGraw, 20th row Comcast Center, only $85) I'll be happy! I'm still trying to win tickets on WZLX in Boston so I can give them to a friend who can't afford to go and we can split the cost. I'll be doing this for Stevie Nicks & Rod Stewart. To the man who agrees prices are too high, maybe you can try the radio station too. Good Luck!

Can you please explain why tickets are so expensive to the show in Lowell, MA? It's such a small venue (like a high school auditorium) I don't understand. I saw STYX there, 11th row floor seats, for about 60 dollars cheaper. Regardless of what the government says, we are still in a recession. Yeah I know I didn't have to buy the floor seats at $135 a piece but I did. I love to dance at the show! I didn't pay that much at the Pavillion in Boston. I just wondered who's decision it is to make the ticket prices, is it John himself ?

I am a BIG Mellencamp fan, love his music, LOVE HIM, see him every time he's in the Boston area (except Farm Aid, couldn't get my hands on a ticket) I just have to say how amazing it is to read what you all write and how much info you all have/know. I think it's great. Thanks for sharing what you know.

MELLENCAMP.COM ANNOUNCEMENTS / Ask Mellencamp.com / ticket upgrade and price

I just got a computer and I'm new to this. I just went on the web site and saw that you get a free download (already bought the cd the day it came out, love the bluesey sound ) and a chance to get front row upgrade when you purchased your tickets to the show. I'm going to Lowell, MA on Feb. 3 but I didin't get anything with my tickets to enter this upgrade opportunity. I called the day they went on sale and the closest I could get is row s at 128.00 (135.00 with all fees). I think it's steep for such a small venue. I love him and see him every time he's in the Boston area and try to get as close as I can.
