The show will start promptly at 7pm - well, that's when the movie will start.  If you haven't already seen the movie, I recommend getting there in time to see it.  It's really interesting and I enjoyed it both times I've seen it!

I know some of you will be coming from work, and there also isn't a lot to choose from as far as dining in the area.  If we were going to meet for dinner or drinks before the show, we would need to probably meet around 4:30 or 5pm. 

Another option would be to get together after the show if we're not all ready to go home and go to bed, lol!  I'm assuming that I'll be exhausted and since I have to still get up early the next day that will not be as appealing to many.

Doug suggested that we meet a little early in the parking lot and tailgate.  What do you all think of this idea?  Any other ideas or suggestions, or does anyone even want to do anything?

I heard him say last night, "the start of the World Wide Tour".

He also said this opening night in Bloomington.  We'll see how he's feeling after 3 legs in the US!  I have my fingers crossed for our Mellenfriends across the oceans!

Tony, do you expect more US legs to be added in 2011 (maybe toward the end of the year).  I really want to go to the last show in the tour.  I just want to make sure I know which show that is!!  Should I be shopping the last posted show in Iowa?

[AMAZING]

"AMAZING" doesn't even sum up the show I saw in Bloomington Friday night!! My two fave LIVE songs were played ("Rain on the Scarecrow" & "If I Die Sudden") and I can now add "Right Behind Me" to that list. As long as I can hear one (or any) of those three songs at every concert I go to, I will be satisfied!  Needless to say, once I had heard those three songs last night, my night had been made....and then I was pulled up on stage by Mellencamp and my wildest dream had come true!! Can't be more thankful for the ULTIMATE concert experience

I watched as you danced on stage with John and it was so obvious you were having the time of your life!  What an incredible experience and how fantastic that you got to do that at the tour opener!  I'm happy for you!
