john this is very sad news. im still fortunate to have my mom. she will be the ripe old age of 95 in april. however, i am already starting a grieving process as i know one day she wont be with me either. i try to spend as much time as possible with her. this song i picked to have played when the time comes. and i wana share it with you http://youtube.com/watch?v=oR6okRuOLc8what captured me in the video is the very beginning before the song was being sung what was said. and yes me and my prayer partners are still praying for you keep the faith / peace & love |

this was pretty interesting. however, my question is walktall, even tho larry crane did mention some titles in this video, do you know what songs were written or created by larry crane for jm back then? also i have heard of cory cox and his music. hes really good.

Lord have mercy, we all know that john was done an injustice by not being asked to do half time. all the ifs and buts dont make no difference. put yourself in johns shoes, how do you think john really feels? he may not show it and he may not say anything, but make no mistake john is feeling something.

these are some great songs mentioned. im sure ali would appreciate them all. him and john old tuff guys thats for sure, but kids at heart
checked out the video, nice, and john crackin his jokes bringin a couple of gals to this small town, (actually 3, early dementia maybe lol) anyways and then says then maybe its me and says it probably is me. yeah john it is you becuz the longest distance you have to travel is the space between your head and your heart.
me and my prayer partners still praying for you, wont stop, more stubborn than you.
but one thing i will say is i am very disappointed john that you were not picked for halftime at the superbowl, since indiana is your home state. you and elaine did a lot to help out the state, and i feel you should of been acknowledged for that and honored for that and you should of been picked. its a shame

this is so cool that john gets to be part of ali's birthday. i remember when ali first started his boxing career. i think its a great honor that john gets to do this. does anyone know what song or songs he mite sing?

it truly is a shame that the lyrics were changed. im surprised john even did this. i worked with the christian media and of course there wouldnt of been no problem if it were played and even to this day. but that was years ago. this song is a good song. and its true radio isnt like it was back in my "hippy Jesus Christ Superstar" days (we were called Jesus Freaks lol). there was a lot of spiritual rock songs put out, but that is what was going on then. but one thing that i hear john say "dont kiss ass" and im wondering.

definitely "a ride back home" is the best i have heard from out of all of the songs john wrote.
there is such a clear message and i believe its a prayer of johns in this song. and i truly believe that this prayer in this song will be answered for you john.
