Tony, I saw your reply in another thread so no need to answer it here.  Hopefully in the winter months John and the band will be looking for warmer weather and will head out to CA.

Great set list, with something for everyone.  A mix of old, older, and not so old (new).  Anyone who was there, it would be great to get feedback on the new songs.

To those that have been to shows on this tour so far, approx. what time does Mellencamp actually takes the stage and how late (most places have an 11:00 hard stop) does he typically go?  I've got some shows coming up later this month.  Thanks in advance.

Looks like a great set list.  A good mix of hits and songs that may not be well known (outside of the diehards) and a mix of new and old.  I am not seeing him until the CA/AZ/CO shows in July but I'd be happy if this is the same set list he plays at those shows.

Thanks for the heads up on this.  I was able to jump on and watch this.  John seemed to be in a good mood and I really enjoyed the approx. 30 minute interview.  Hopefully there will be a recording for people that could not jump on live.  Every time I see or read an interview by John, I learn something new.  His music has been such a soundtrack to my life, it is always interesting to learn more about him, his stories, and his creative process.

Really liking the interviews with John- USA Today, Time, Esquire...nice to see John still has that edge about him.  He is as full of p*ss and vinegar as always and that's one of the reasons I love him and his music.  Plus, he makes a lot of good points in these interviews.

Thanks Tony, Sharon, et all.  I got 2 tickets for each of 3 shows- LA, Phoenix, & Denver.  Got 4th row for the LA show, 1st row for the Phx show (both of those shows got the diamond package), and got like 20th row for Denver (fanclub presale seats).  I may have been able to stay at it and get better Denver seats but I knew I was going for more expensive/better ones for the other two shows.  I plan on taking my 6 year old to the Phx show and my 5 year old to the LA show- better tickets came up by pulling 2 tickets rather than 3.  Plus, not sure if I could control both of them at the same show

There is a chance I may try and see one of the Nor Cal shows but will wait to see if I can make it to them before I buy tickets.

A lot going on for the Mellencamp.com team today with close to 80 shows going onsale all on the same day.

I apologize if this info is somewhere on this site and I am missing it.  It seems that for the Denver, CO show (and perhaps others as well), for the Diamond VIP package it is asking for a password and is not accepting the password that is listed on the Tour page on this website.  Is there a separate password for the Diamond seats, and if so where do I get that?

Kstucker it was nice meeting you and your husband.  Glad you guys really liked the show.  It's great being right up front, but kind of spoils you and makes it so you have to sit up there all the time.

I heard a number of people walking out after the show singing John's praises. 

80 shows is quite the tour.  Looking forward to it and the new album.  He doesn't come out to the Southwest until next July.  I do have the Ghost Brothers show in LA in early December and the new album to tide me over until then.
