Good luck.  I went ahead and purchased a single ticket as my friends and I weren't able to find three.  Ticketmaster says that all that's currently available is a few scattered tickets so I'm unsure as to whether or not my two friends will get to go.

No offense and I understand where you are coming from, as many musicians don't visit individual states in all areas.  However, last time I checked there is a Southern date for the tour in TN and TN is very much in the South.

Nashville and the Ryman are great.  I've never seen a show there but have been there.  So sad that it was under water during the May flood a few months ago.

All of them....though John Cougar and American Fool were the ones that first hooked me.

Going with "I Need a Lover" but not for the obvious reasons.....mainly because it was the first Mellencamp song I'd heard.

I've never seen him live either.  He came to Nashville, TN a few weeks ago but due to work demands I wasn't able to go.  That seems to be the story of my life for concerts in Nashville (which is the closest location available to me) since they usually take place during the week rather than the weekend.

A great picture and two very talented musicians.  Kenny Arnoff played drums and percussion on Jon Bon Jovi's Young Guns soundtrack which included several great musicians :  Elton John, Dave Stewart, etc.
