Yes, He seems to really take to it. He had to con his way in with the camera, but he did all the talking, It's a Canon 50D, but he only took the 55mm lens with him. Had to show the guy at the door other stuff he'd shot to show he knew what he was doing. Took a lot of pix, and got about 30 great shots. He's getting better every time out. 2 fans gave him their e-mails so he could give them the link once he posted the photos.
