Dear John: I hope you have time to read this. Thank you so much for the release of "The Good Samaritan Tour 2000". I had to have both the CD and DVD. They are fantastic! They mean so much to me because I was not fortunate enough to be in attendance at any of the stops made on the Tour. I do live about 52 miles south of Pittsburgh, PA, but had no idea that you were going to be at Market Square. Back in 2000 we didn't have a computer and I was never one to have the radio on all of the time, so I hadn't heard anything about you playing Market Square.

The DVD is great, giving me an idea how it would have been for the people lucky enough to see you on the Tour. John, you're one of the greatest of all time. Many people don't realize what a giving person you are. The Awards you've received in the past few years are well deserved. In the DVD I also liked the part where you pretty much show how things in our country haven't changed since the '60's.

The CD is a great "live" CD for the obvious reasons of your talent, but for me, I really enjoyed listening to the "live" versions of songs that I've never heard you do, but they are songs that I have loved all of my life, also.

Again, thanks so much John, for putting this out for our enjoyment. Every John Mellencamp fan should have both the DVD and CD!

Hello! John is not appearing at a venue on the new tour anywhere near me. I have seen that if you purchase a ticket online to a show on the new tour you will receive a physical CD of "Other People's Stuff". I think that's great. But, for someone like myself, I'd like to pre-order the new album since I can't go to any of the shows. can you tell me if, and when, we will be able to pre-order the new CD online. Thanks!

Hello! I'm probably out of line here, but I thought I'd throw this out anyway. If I'm out of line, I apologize. Does anyone have anything to add about the news I've been seeing about John and Meg Ryan getting back together? I'm only asking because of being such a big fan of John's, and also being a long time fan of Meg Ryan's. If the rumors are true, I wish them all the best. I just want to see John Happy.

I'm sure that many of John's fans know what he did at the Rock N' Roll hall of Fame, but I had to give him a big thumbs up for doing it. Here's one of rock's greatest of all time, and he thinks enough of his fans to stop by while in the area and do a show for the people totally unexpected! We here every day about people in the entertainment field, whether it be singers, actors, athletes, etc. wanting more money. But, then you have John Mellencamp who does his best to keep the price of his shows down as much as possible, and then he does something like this. This is just one of the reasons that there is a difference between John and most other performers. He really cares about his fans. He's always been this way, and always will be. John, I wasn't there, but man you gave a bunch of people a real thrill. Thanks for being the guy you are.

Hello Again! I just watched John's tremendous interview with Katie Couric. What John had to say didn't surprise me. Man, what a straight shooter. John tells it the way it is, and truly is the spokesman for the common man and woman. He puts himself on the line with his views, and doesn't care what the bigwigs think. That's my guy! Thank you, John, for expressing what so many of we middle class citizens feel. No one listens to us, so you are our voice, and i thank you for that.

Hello! I just finished listening and watching John sing his new song, "Easy Target". Wow, what a song! Man, leave it up to John to tell it like it is in this country of ours! Absolutely fantastic. I sure hope that John includes this on the new album. I hope that John takes this as a compliment. If I hadn't of been watching him and had my head turned I"d have sworn that I was listening to Tom Waits singing that song. The voice wasn't quite as rough as Tom's, but the style was sure there. Congratulations, John! You've got a winner there. But, I had no doubts before I heard it. Just reading the lyrics the other day told me it was going to be great. Thanks, John!

Congratulations, John! This exhibit is long overdue! You are truly one of the great Rock N'Roll, Americana, Roots music artists of all time! I hope that The Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame realizes what an honor it is to have your personal belongings and artifacts on display.
