Is this an all ages show?

Please call the casino box office and ask them or read closely on their website. Some casino's will allow under 18 with an adult.

Here it is from their box office page

Any children under 5 years of age are only allowed to attend shows specifically designed as family or children’s events but must have a ticket to attend. Children ages 5-15 must be accompanied by an adult at the concert (adult must attend, cannot gamble during concert) and must have a ticket. Major Mellencamp fan here!!  Born a Hoosier but definitely a Michigander now.
I remember when John was the first concert at Soaring Eagles outdoor arena.  It was
on July 4 can't remember the year :-\    John NEVER fails to disappoint throughout all these years.

I was there!!!  It started raining that night and John left the stage during the performance and came back saying he had to get some different shoes on cuz he was 'gonna bust his ass on that stage".....I'll never forget it!   I say that all the time in the winter when I'm walking on ice.

Can't wait can't wait can't wait!!!!!!!!!!

OMG That sounded hilariously awesome. I've never been to the Soaring Eagle Casino (mostly because I'm underaged lol) But you guys were speaking of an OUTDOOR concert there. Will John be playing outdoors this time, or do they have an indoor concert hall? I sure hope it's indoors, because John knows very well how unpredictable Midwestern weather is, especially in April loL!

This should be an indoor show, again you probably want to call the Casino Box Office and ask them.

We have been careful to not include the Plain Spoken Tour branding on the casino shows, they are expected to be different from the regular Plain Spoken Tour. There will be tons of similarities but it's likely the show will be a little less artsy/storytelling, probably a little shorter etc as has been the case in the past at casino shows.

:o That sucks!! I hope it's not too much shorter... that's just like teasing all the diehard Mellencamp fans! Well hopefully he'll come back here on another tour and play at a better venue. Regardless of all this, I'm excited anyways. I heard that Soaring Eagle is nice.
I'm just so happy his still touring at his age. With all the recent deaths with great musicians (Glenn Frey, David Bowie) I'm really considering John Mellencamp being among some of the luckiest people alive. He is just so classy and cool lol.

Is the ticket website for Soaring Eagle going to be connected with the casino tomorrow or some other site?  Wondering because I cannot access anything with the word 'casino' from my office computer....would have to figure something out :-\

I'm having a major problem buying tickets for this show... Ticketmaster does not even have the show registered! Aren't the tickets supposed to be on sale to the general public now? I cannot find the show at all, look: http://www.ticketmaster.com/search?tm_link=tm_header_search&user_input=John+Mellencamp+soaring+eagle+casino&q=John+Mellencamp+soaring+eagle+casino

Ticketmaster isn't selling tickets for this show. You have to go here to buy tickets: http://event.etix.com/ticket/online/performanceSale.do?performance_id=4308386&method=restoreToken

See, that's the website I'm having problems with. It only gives me the best seats available. I want to be able to see a big list of tickets to choose from, I want be able to see them ALL. And I can't do that and I don't know why. That website is kinda hard to use. I guess I'll just have to  give them a call and have them help me. I don't EVER remember tickets being this stressful to buy. I was looking for really close seats, and I know there's some left, I just can't get to them. It's starting to make me second guess that I should even go. But y'know I'm just going to try looking on a different website...

I'm thinking it's the casino....they are saving close seats for the high rollers.  When I went to get my tickets it took me to best available...wouldn't give me access to C1...so I grabbed the C2 just to be sure I got something.  I checked a few minutes later and then there were some seats made available in C1...they were the rows farther back though.

I'm a up-close person or it's a no go for me. I just have to be up close at concerts or it's not really fun for me! I pay the price too, it's hard to earn that money but I do it for the artists I love lol! I'm sure I'll find a way somehow to get close seats this time. If not, I suppose I'll go because I love John Mellencamp but I won't be too happy :P I tend to get lucky though.

Casino shows are different than regular shows on a tour. Casinos are well known to keep many of the best seats for their high rollers in hopes to get them out to the casino or to reward people who are playing that day.

Oh dear this concert is really going to stink then. I mean, Mellencamp is going to rock. But my concert experience will probably be the worst yet to come. This really isn't fair, at all, but oh well. I should just be happy that I'm in the same room as him, I guess?  :P
