I have tickets to the 9/21/2013 show but can only go for a few hours so I want to time it around his performance. Please advise.

If you get to the venue by 7 pm, you should be in plenty of time to see him. FarmAid.org always posts the projected times the performers will take the stage on the morning of the show, so I would check the site on Saturday morning for official confirmation. Enjoy the concert.
