one of my favourite bands are a scotish group called runrig they sing in gaelic and english there website is (altough the singer is now canadian bruce guthro)

they have been going for nearly 40 years but are taking a year off this year but will be back next year

Excellent band...scottish bands like deacon blue,simple minds, texas iv  seen them live...my fav celtic rockers are the galway based "saw doctors"...just briliant concerts!..seein them in 2 wks here in london...cant wait.

They're not bad at all.  Their music fits into the new country genre.

Saw docs have country roots..termed as folk rockers...check em out..ther so lively,bubbly,and nice people off stage as well as on...davy carton,leo moran,andy thistlethwaite(ex(waterboys)..and a stormin drummer..eimhin craddock....playin u.s.a in august.

Just booked for their 40th aniverary concert in Inverness next year
