I've always liked Lightfoot's music.  He's a great Canadian singer/songwriter that's for sure.

Carefree highway a gem...he never wrote a bad song..and they reflected his life..u can hear the sadness in his voice...and a soulful voice as well..mans a legend.

Yeah, the sadness in Lightfoot's voice is what makes him so great.  It's a very unique talent.
