He pretty much HAS to play them... fans love them so much and they're always in "high demand". He throws in some new stuff off of Plain Spoken which is a nice touch.
If you're expecting to hear things like "I Need A Lover", well, I don't think it will be happening any time soon. There are certain songs he just rarely/doesn't do. I am not sure what his plans are next year, but I do know that he is making an album with Carlene Carter and is most likely going to go on tour to promote it- but don't take my word for it.
