Brilliant, thank you walktall! Downloading now and it's going straight on the ipod for the long drive we're undertaking; the kids are getting a blast of JM today.

We had a great time listening to these yesterday in the car. Love the Dance Naked remix: the kids were bopping away in the back of the car too. I wonder what the story is there; it's so much fuller-sounding than the original release? It was great to listen to. Big fav, though, was Baby Please Don't Go, love this cover.

I also got to wondering why Here Comes Angie and March of the Forgotten Seven were left off the '98 record and leaked thereafter; does the Forgotten Seven song refer to a specific news item ala Jena?

Now...yes, I'm a pain in the ass...but does anyone have the audio of the truly fantastic Letterman '89 Pop Singer (the one with Kenny and the girls on loads of percussion as opposed to full drum kit) and Jailhouse Rock from Honeymoon in Vegas? Hope you're enjoying the baseball, walktall!

I was enjoying the baseball until about the 8th inning of yesterday's Cardinals/Nationals game when the Cards blew a 2-1 lead. I'm a huge Cards fan and that was a tough loss to take. I'm bolting out of work early today to catch Game 2 and hoping for a better result.

The two songs you referred to are below. I don't have the audio of Letterman '89, but this is a cool video. I don't know why "March" and "Angie" didn't make the '98 album -- there was actually another one called "La La La" that didn't make it either, but that one has never made it into circulation.

I just love that version of JailHouse Rock, John sounds soo sexy.
That was my favorite Letterman interview of John. I wish they posted the rest or I never found it.
Thanks so much for posting these. Have fun watching the game.  ;)
