As of Friday morning, the couple had been based at a “special room” in a downtown hotel and were keeping a low profile. When they do travel they are usually surrounded by security, the source said. Mellencamp was scheduled to play Regina’s Conexus Arts Centre on Friday and Saturday. He plays Winnipeg’s Centennial Concert Hall on Sunday. He has no shows scheduled for Calgary, but did play Edmonton’s Jubilee Auditorium last Saturday. |
