I have never been to The Peoria Civic Center or the Theater. I am coming from Mahomet (close to Champaign so not too far away) and bringing my son to his first concert for his 12 B-day.
Any tips you have about the Theater, parking, etc...

Coming from Mahomet on 74 you could stop in East Peoria and eat. They have a variety of restaurants, Mcdonalds, Moe's, Chick-fil-a, Red Robin, Mike's Jersey Subs, Mexican,Potbelly's, and then they have Texas Roadhouse for Steakhouse. Not sure what you are wanting but downtown Peoria doesn't have a lot of eating places. There is an Outdoor Parking Lot close to the theatre on Monroe St and also a Parking Deck on Jefferson Ave not too far away. I think it is 5.00 to park in both of them. If we can be of more help just let us know.

Thanks for the tips. Really looking forward to the show. From what I can see online the Theater looks pretty cool. Hope you enjoy! I have seen him probably too many times, and looking forward to taking my son!
