When I was sweet 'n low sixteen
I met a man named doctor strangelove
I did my hair
I cut my nails
He stole away my time
We started out as strangers
But we ended up as l.u.v.v.e.r.s.
"Check it out" the program
Of our favorite broadway show
We went for sweet expresso
We split a dozen donuts
Sharing time in crowds of plenty
Greenwich Village and colored lights
Our family time we cut to nothing
Sitting cold and frail,
Deaf and dumb and curing blindness
Signing off in braille
It really all was relative
All the love we had to give
Out in California where the midnight moon was three AM
But we understood each other
Our sisters and "they're crabby" brothers
And we promised if we made it
They could come and blubber
We promised if we made it
They could come and cry
When I was sweet and low sixteen
I met a man named doctor strangelove
...I did my hair
I did my nails...
He stole away my time.

A Sleepy Scent in the Poconos
racketeer

I once had a dream I was a princess
A crown of roses every day
What they left for "my cherie amor"
As she slid a skateboard down the street
But when the bright light turned him in
For doing cartwheels through the town
Like a different girl in the front back seat
"Kiss me, Kate! I have to sleep!"
And so the leader of the band
Lead guitar and Danish drummer
Felt a little down today
He did not want to be my lover
He threw my heart into the furnace,
For a  pack a day of vapor smokes
A heated message on the fire,
A sleepy scent in the Poconos

"It looks like..."
judy,um,I mean, rudy, is I guess, eyeing some basket case double dare you!!!

"...I went way way down
 to the underground..."
to get a little action in..."
is the primary exercise of a superior generation's tragically hip
