John, I am not sure if really read this site or not but I wanted to say I know it's a sad time for you on Mother's day but remember all the funny and happy times with her. Remember her painting she has done and great things she has done to help people.
My mother has dementia and does not know who I am anymore, but yesterday for the first time in 12 years when I told her that I loved her, she looked at me and said "I love you too" that is something I will have with me for the rest of my life.
