Please spare  thought / prayer for Molly.

Molly Meldrum and JM go way back.  It was with Molly's influence that I Need A Lover became a hit in Australia in 1978, and it was with Molly that JM had war of words about the same time.  But JM and Molly got over their differences and now have a lot of respect for each other with Molly featuring in JM's art.

I hope Molly makes a full recovery. What a sad story.

One of the best JM interviews I ever saw was done by Molly in 1986 -- I guess when the Scarecrow Tour went over to Australia. Molly asked John some great questions and got some great answers from him. This interview was on YouTube for all of 24 hours in 2007 before it got taken down. I haven't seen it since and am kicking myself for not downloading it when I had the chance. I hope it resurfaces again some day. It's a must-see for all JM fans.

Thanks Walktall for your reply.  We here in Australia all love to have a laugh at Molly's expense, but we also know what a huge contribution Molly has made to the music industry....not just here in Australia, but Internationally aswell.

Molly is still not out of the woods, but is hanging in there.  I'm sure everyone's thoughts and prayers are appreciated by Molly and his family.

So sorry to hear this.  You never know.  I hope he can make a full recovery.

mellenq:
the lastest on the news is that he is stable.

It is going to be a long road to recovery for Molly, but so far, so good.
