Yes, another very dark album from back in 2008 followed by NBTT. Aching to see some kick ass rock n' roll with a lighter tone on this next one.

Mr. Mellencamp has said on numerous occasions going years back, he contradicts himself . This is nothing surprising or new. It's always been part of his character. He does calaborate(Farm aid anyone),and he does have lots of friends. He likes to admit to neither

Certainly not an overstatement in my opinion. Amazing.

Brilliant works. It arrived from amazon Monday and has not left my CD player. Some of his best works are contained in this soundtrack. Cheers to the actors for the first rate voice interpretations as well.

My dear brother attended the concert. Her relayed it's one of the best he had  experienced. Great cause that continues to be relevant.

To the Moderators: Why can't one enjoy the various photo threads without seeing the usual tedious adolescent high school discussions on ex wife vs girlfriend?

Both parties moved on a long time. Both. His ex has a long term beau last I heard. As they say in the High School biz -which this board resembles in these theads-. DEAL. It's nice they both found happiness again with others.

Regarding Mr Mellencamp's looks. He looks like I'd always imagine he would. A 61 yr old rock'in kick ass leather wearing guy. Pleasure to see he dropped the country type vests{and dyeing his hair black} and went with leather . A leather wearing content dude.

Having seen this pheonomenal artist perform sans 1991 in Bean town, the pleasure was all mine. The almost 4 hour performance, was a gift to his audience and a tribute to his music. Not much has changed I see.
