He performed at some of the Canadian shows and then had to fly to the US for emergency surgery.  There are other posts stating there were hopes he could return to finish the tour but given it is almost over, doesn't look like that will happen.  I am thankful my husband and I were able to see him at the Moose Jaw, SK show!!

Oh my gosh...the first time I saw John was at this very same concert.  I have been searching old concert dates online to try and find the date/year this took place as I could not remember (I thought it was 1979 or 1980 so this is so great that Ovincent wrote this post as I now know the exact date!!).  I bought tickets to see Heart and had no intention of going to see the opener with John Cougar as I had never heard of him.  My friend was a huge fan of John and convinced me to go early to see him open the show...best thing I ever did and I have been a huge fan ever since.  Thanks for sharing this story, Ovincent...remembering this concert brings back great memories!!

In a nutshell, my husband and I had seats in the first row of the best floor section of the venue…hope you are just as lucky…after your concert, let us all know how you enjoyed your seats and the show!

To all you VIP ticket holders for an upcoming show on the Canadian tour...based on my experience with the Moose Jaw show, you should not be disappointed!  Traveled more than 2,000 miles from North Carolina to Moose Jaw to see JM so was hoping the 64 seconds it took me to purchase my VIP tickets the day they went on sale for the pre-sale was fast enough to make my journey worthwhile.  Well, I found out from our VIP host that only one other person beat me in the VIP ticket pre-sale for Moose Jaw and so I was incredibly happy when our host presented me with my two tickets which were located in the best center section (section 2) of the venue and my seats were in the front row!!

Concert was amazing...another epic performance from JM and the band.  AND, he gave us all an extra surprise at the end...just when we thought the concert was over, John asked for the house lights to be turned on...he looked puzzled when they did not come on and then asked the crowd if we had time for one more song...crowd roared with a resounding "YES" and so JM proceeded to sing "Hurts So Good" and we were all ecstatic!!!

I hope everyone enjoys the concert as much as we did!!!!!!!  And, Moose Jaw is a lovely town, full of wonderful people and rich history.  We will definitely return to Moose Jaw for a visit! 

Hi Darlene:  My husband and I are traveling from North Carolina to see JM in Moose Jaw, SK – that show is this coming Sunday (24 June) - we purchased premium tickets from VIP and I received an e-mail on 19 June telling me who our host is, what time to meet at the venue and where to meet...so based on the timing of my e-mail for the 24 June show, you will probably receive your e-mail about 5 days before your show date.  In response to Karen's e-mail regarding issues with her premium seats - I, too, am very concerned where we will be sitting...after I purchased the VIP seats during the pre-sale, I checked the venue seating chart and was shocked to see that the first and third rows in the best floor section for the show I am going to were open for sale during the pre-sale to regular price ticket holders - so I know those seats were not being held for VIP ticket holders...makes me wonder where the heck our seats will be.  I will be incredibly disappointed if I spent $500 for two tickets and get seated in row 10 - I bought our VIP tickets right when the fan club pre-sale opened and completed the sale in 64 seconds so I am hoping that was fast enough to get great seats but I am skeptical.

Thanks for the reply, Tony.  I used the max number of characters in my last post so could not add this comment...there are two small sections on the floor that are located on each side of the stage that showed completely sold out as soon as the regular ticket pre-sale went live for Moose Jaw...so maybe those sections hold several of the premium pre-sale seats. 

Regardless of where we sit, we are really looking forward to the show...our third time seeing JM in the past year and this time around, we are traveling to Canada from North Carolina to see him in Moose Jaw so it should be a fabulous trip!!!!!!! 

Hi Tony:  I purchased two premium event packages for Moose Jaw, SK yesterday...took 64 seconds to complete the transaction so hopefully that was fast enough to get some awesome seats  At the same time I was on the VIP site beginning the order process, my husband logged in on his laptop to the regular tickets pre-sale at the venue (Mosaic Place) so we could see what "regular" VIP seats were being offered and if they were really good, we would purchase those instead and save some cash (and we already have the premium package swag from previous shows so don't need more).  As you know, the regular ticket pre-sale for Moose Jaw was delayed due to technical issues so I went ahead and booked the premium seats.  When the Moose Jaw regular ticket pre-sale finally went live, we were shocked to see that almost the entire front row center section seats (section 2) were available for purchase...meaning, we could have purchased front row seats for more than 50% less than we paid for the premium package seats...and with the premium seats, we won't find out where we are sitting until the night of the show.  Makes me wonder where the heck the premium seats will be given most of the front row seats were available in the regular ticket pre-sale.  Also, the second row of the same section was grayed out completely and listed as “not available" so presume that row is either being held for the public sale or some/all are being held for premium ticket holders.   

In pre sale ticket instructions they give a tip that says "We suggest you click pre-sale tickets link for your show and pre-register with the ticket seller before......".
I cannot not see who and where the ticket seller is in pre-sale tickets link!!! Anyone help me with this?

Look at the location column for the show you want to attend and try clicking on the location hyperlink...it should take you to the venue where you can hopefully register.  But I have seen a few posts where the venue site info is not linked yet to the pre-sale ticket link or location link for a few shows...so perhaps this is the problem you are experiencing. 

Hi Tony:  I see that all the premium package tickets will be sold via the VIP Nation website (not the actual concert venue) AND based on the info provided on the VIP Nation website FAQ and terms/conditions information, we will not know what seats we have until the night of the show.  So my question is this...if we purchase the highest priced regular tickets during the pre-sale, is there a chance to get seats close to the stage or do we have to purchase the premium ticket package to get these seats?  I have read a few other posts and it appears there are chances to get great seats very close to the stage without having to purchase the premium package.  My husband and I have purchased the premium ticket package for two shows in the past year so we don't need the extra goodies, just the great seats!  Thanks for your help!
