Well well in 2020 the quiz is still there, and was pretty good! I only got 9/15, i should do better. would love to know who all the people are in the family photo after the wives/children question. i wonder when that was taken, did not look like Elaine (but i could be wrong) thanks for the quiz, make one about his music I might ace that one!

Well although i am bummed about no 2020 tour, he deserves a break as he has been out every year for what, the last years in a row? My wallet will be a little heavier being as I won't have to go to 3 or 4 or 5 shows this year, and pay all the travel expenses associated with such. My wife might also appreciate the break, although she is always a good sport about my JM stalking, oops I mean dedication!

MELLENCAMP.COM ANNOUNCEMENTS / Announcements & Updates / Re: John Mellencamp Supports Mike Bloomberg For President

Well I first saw this via twitter yesterday, and the replies to the tweet were all vitriolic responses. I did not see one reply of support (although I could have missed, or there might be more since I looked). Although my fingers were itchy, I chose not to wade into the mud on twitter.
I must admit it is rather ironic that the former mayor of the largest city in the country is now all about small towns?!?!?! Seems Mayor Pete would be the "small town" candidate. Although i might not always agrees with JM's political opinions/choices (and I am not sure who I support yet) I do always applaud him for having the balls to stand up for what (or whom) he believes in. I am sure he knows he will catch a lot of grief for this (as he already has) but I am also sure he does not give a flying f**k. And the statement about needing someone capable of beating the incumbent does have some merit.
Good on you John, as you have said "You've Got To Stand for Something, or You Might Fall for Anything" See ya at the polls in November (Or maybe we could get another Vote For Change tour?)

New Brunswick, NJ Feb 23 your site shows VIP packages onsale, but it links to State theater site which is not selling anything. Maybe members of State theater only now? but would like to know when it opens up to us mellenheads...Thanks Tony?Sharon!
State Theater is a very unique ticket system, look for the giant blue bar across the bottom of the browser, select the Mellencamp show from the drop down on the bottom right, put the password in and continue purchase. Yeah took me while of trying to figure it out, but finally got it, Thanks!

Hello Mellenheads greetings from Pennsylvania. Anyone going to a show in Canada? I noticed alot of the towns are near the US border, so not too bad of a drive from 'murica. I should be doing the ones near Toronto etc. but the dates weren't right so gonna fly out to Victoria, BC and make a vacation out of it! (Would like to add Abbotsford or Kelowna too but....) Hope you all can make it to one of the shows! Can't wait!

Thanks for the thoughtful reply Tony! Yes I do remember now that you reminded me (I go back to ClubCherryBomb days) Can't fault management for not wanting to get more money from fans can we. I am OK with the VIP setup (mainly because I can afford it and am quite willing to) and I know fans on a limited budget do not feel the same, but if you don't charge a premium for the best seats the resale market will, and the i would rather see the money go to JM than resale outlets. It kind of works because at premium cost there is not a lot of room for profit as the demand is not there. I did manage to get the seats I wanted for Philly, so I am a happy boy now!! Much thanks to Pete Seeger who told John to "just keep it going"......so glad he continues to tour...(though my wife does not like the effect it has on our bank account )
