Yes I agree, took my then 20 year old son to Centerstage, he has listened to John's music from his carseat to his own jeep, but after seeing him in person said "I like what he stands for Mom, he's a cool guy!"
Took my 21yr old daughter to her first Mellencamp show this past Feb
@ Radio city, she really got into it also.

My personal opinion, there is not a lot of good music out there, you have to search for it, that is why I believe my kids listen to a lot of the
artists I did.  Keep on making music John!

Tony is the unsung hero of the Mellencamp organization, he does a fantastic job, takes care of everyone like they are family!

Heard it this morning on the radio driving to work on a NY
station...... it's a good song!

NYC....a smaller intimate show, like the Housing Works Benefit,
would be great for 2012!  We were so spoiled by that performance.

Well said,  I feel close to certain songs at certain times in my life,
the gentleman that said at the Live by Request Show,  John's songs are the soundtrack to my life, really summed it up.  I have felt that way for a long time.
