Thank you Mellencamp and company for releasing this great film on the blu-ray format with HD picture/master quality audio.
For those of you that do not have a blu-ray player, go buy one, if you have a HD tv, the picture quality is so much better (and yes this film filmed off a super 8 projection will look really good in HD)
And if you only have a non HD TV, you can still buy a Blu-ray player with a component video output as long as your non HD TV has a component video input. You can then set the Blu-ray player resolution to 480i to match your non HD TV. The Blu-ray disc will look better than a DVD Disc in 480i because the Blu-ray disc picture is less compressed than the DVD compression codec. And the audio will be lossless, versus a DVD where most audio is lossy (compressed) unless it is LPCM which is uncompressed.
