ROADIES SOUNDTRACK FEATURING JOHN'S "LONGEST DAYS" AVAILABLE NOW!
John Mellencamp, Jackson Browne and Fleetwood Mac's Lindsey Buckingham are featured on the official soundtrack to the Showtime series Roadies, which was just released digitally and is available for purchase as a physical album.  The record is made up almost entirely of new live performances by various artists, many of whom made cameo appearances on the show.  Purchase the official soundtrack now on Apple Music.  Roadies creator, writer and director Cameron Crowe explains of the show’s music,"Great care was taken that the songs chosen for each artist have another meaning, a thread to our story or characters. The only rule was: no lip-syncing to playback. Not even to live versions recorded in a previous take. These would be authentic live performances. Real performances. That’s where the magic happens, for an audience and even a crew."

JOHN RETURNS TO TOLEDO TO HELP HOUSE HOMELESS VETERANS This fall, before his concert at the Stranahan on Oct. 21, Mellencamp will return to Tent City, this time as the Honorary Mayor and Grand Marshal to kick off Tent City and the Veterans Matter Walk to End Veteran Homelessness. To help the group raise additional funds, Mellencamp will also invite the highest Veterans Matter Walk fundraiser and a guest to his show that evening with a meet-and-greet immediately following. The singer is donating an additional ticket package to support the Oct. 19 fundraiser hosted by his long-time tour manager and 1Matters board member Harry Sandler. Sandler will be presenting an October-long show of his photography, “Images of a Photographic Journey,” at the Toledo School for the Arts Porter Gallery.
