Big Daddy - You knew right away the tone of his life was and what this album was going to be about because of the first song.  It sucked you into his life that reflected your own.

Hurts So Good is my favorite song of John's and it kicks off my favorite album of John's, American Fool.

Lisa Germano's violin at the beginning of Paper in Fire grabs you by the throat and doesn't let go till the end of the song. My favorite, without a doubt.

i agree, Paper In Fire...the first song of the album that brought the violin/accordion sound. but not just the violin, the song is full of energy, great!
